National nuclear Day in Iran (English)

April 8th (20 Farvardin) is now annually celebrated as National nuclear technology day in Iran, after president Ahmadinejad in 2006 broke the news that the first batch of low-enriched uranium had been produced at the Natanz nuclear facility, to provide fuel for the country's reactors. This year, President Ahmadinejad announced the installation of 6000 centrifuges for enrichment purposes.
