Gambling in Myanmar!

A friend and I went to Tachilek Myanmar to visit a casino. I wanted to document the visit on video but was not allowed. Turns out the casino is owned by a high level Chinese-Thai politician. http://www.bangkokpost.com/News/13Mar2008_news96.php By coincidence, the Bangkok Post article is dated March 13, 2008 -The very same date we visited! The new government of Thailand is seriously considering legalizing gambling. Which makes sense since droves of Thai people go to other countries to gamble. They also gamble on the internet and in illegal gambling dens. Thais and Asians in general like to gamble, and as far as I am concerned there's nothing wrong with that...life in general is a gamble. By the way, I ended up winning around $5 USD in 5 minutes! Now let me shoot a decent video next time!! Their site: http://www.allureresort.com
