Pat and Jogi play: DIG

A song composed by Miles Davis based on the chords of Sweet Georgia Brown. We got together on the 31st of December this time, of course a special day. We did several takes and as we finished this one it was clear to us that it was one of the better ones. I must admit that I was quite stunned at jogis soloing-versatility at that speed and his convinced playing which reminded me sometimes of Ron Carter, especially the pull-off stuff. I was myself using a lot of technical and musical repertoire ranging from Barney Kessel ton Wes Montgomery influences. Due to Jogis very steady playing I felt very comfortable using some Polyrhythms also. I hope you will enjoy this one as much as we did making it. Cheers and Happy New Year. Pat
