This short video shares the story of an incomplete poem my Father first began writing to my Mother in the early 70s. My Father titled the poem — The Summer of ’62 — because it was June of 1962 when Glenna Keith Coffey married William Alvin Moore Jr. The poem traces the shared life they’ve lived together. Through the years, my Father has periodically updated the poem to add new verses to reflect new shared experiences. This video was shared during the funeral for my Mother. Enjoy.
