Footsteps and breaking glass are the striking ingredients in this video by the master of rhythmic editing; eddie d. In a way, this is not a single channel videotape; the images and sounds are used in a 'polyphone' composition. In a new way of composing (different from his previous tapes) eddie d made a very personal, melancholic tape, in which different images (and their sounds) are used synchronically on one screen to transform into new musical and rhythmical structures. With the grafical composing d explored collage-like techniques that digital video editing made possible (and were still pretty new to mr. d back in 1996, when this video was made).
