Photo Shoot: Natalie by Sol Lang. Behind the Scenes of a Photo Shoot. This will be the first installment in a series of short films, chronicling some of my shooting sessions with Natalie and other models. I chose to show this pre-session part of the event because I thought that Natalie was brilliant in how she prepared her hair and her make-up. But more than this, I wanted to bring across her great personality and joie de vivre. She proved to be a great model and I couldn’t resist capturing a few images of her in the dressing room as she was preparing. It took me the better part of my week-end to create this short film of Natalie Mai as she prepares for our shoot of last March. Of course all the raw video was already in existence. It was shot by me and my wife, artist, Mary Bogdan. This weekend was just the editing and assembling of the raw footage.
