This is a recording of a computer simulated takeoff run of the RSEV Project’s Blackbird Class Science Ship. This particular run was done for recording purposes. Ship design and model: Benjamin Swem. Modeling, Simulation and recording Software: X-Plane by Laminar Research Takeoff Location: Phoenix International Airport (KPHX) Weather: Good The ship was able to successfully takeoff from the runway within the length of the runway. For this flight ship was under computer control.
