Members of the Flea, Tick and Mosquito Liberation Organization (FTMLO) recently held a protest outside the headquarters of Sergeant's Pet Care Products. "We are here to tell the world about the cruel and inhumane actions of this company, Sergeant's Pet Care Products," says FTMLO leader, Ichabod Lyme. Lyme says Sergeant's is walking a dangerous line by not taking seriously the FTMLO's threats and actions to protest Sergeant's Gold Flea and Tick Squeeze-On for Dogs, the company's latest innovative flea, tick and mosquito control product. "I have on good authority that this new product not only kills fast, but is inexpensive, man," says Lyme. "You can find it anywhere, man. It's unthinkable and we're not about to give up this fight." Just last month, members of the FTMLO stormed a press conference at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Fla., while a spokesperson for Sergeant's was addressing journalists on Sergeant's Gold Flea and Tick Squeeze-On for Dogs. While Sergeant's was stunned at the disruption, Joel Adamson, senior vice president at Sergeant's, says Lyme and his cohorts haven't had any impact on the company's business decisions. "The fact that FTMLO has been fighting Sergeant's over the release of our new product is a true testament to the power of Sergeant's Gold Flea and Tick Squeeze-On for Dogs," says Adamson. "They know they face an untimely…well, timely, death. So, members of the FTMLO have a reason to be upset, but it's a fight they are certainly not going to win. Sergeant's Gold Flea and Tick Squeeze on for Dogs is already on retail store shelves," says Adamson. Sergeant's Gold Flea and Tick Squeeze-On for Dogs is a patent-pending formula that kills fleas in as little as one hour and ticks in as little as three hours, incredibly fast for a flea and tick control product. The FTMLO continues to urge people to go to www.ftmlo.org to help the group protest Sergeant's new product. The group's leader also is asking people to contact him through his blog at www.tick-talks.blogspot.com with any feedback or ideas on how to strengthen the fleas', ticks' and mosquitoes' fight for survival.
