Created for Fava's 48 Hour Film Fest, Aug 23-25, 2007 where we had exactly 48 hours from 5:00PM on the Friday to 5:00PM on the following Sunday to write, film, edit and submit a finished product, no longer then 10 minutes, to the festival. Part of the rules were that we HAD to incorporate two supplied props (a fly swatter and an umbrella), two supplied lines of dialouge, a set location (piece of public art), and an editing effect (at least one scene in sepia). With all those stipulations presented to us on the Friday, we improvised this artsy film-noir piece about romance at the end of the world.
