Speech, Religion, Association and Expression, as well as the right to Due Process are our most fundamental freedoms, all guaranteed by the Constitution. Yet, on college and university campuses all across the country, who by their very nature attract a cross-section of society reflecting its divergent opinions, ideas and beliefs, and whose exploration of these varying points of view should be key building blocks in the learning process, these basic rights are under attack by administrators seeking to stifle the free-flow of ideas under the guise of political correctness. Defending these freedoms on campus is the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, a hands-on organization willing and able to give practical advice and other assistance to students and faculty members who find their liberties and consciences under attack by administrators wielding the fashionable, politically-acceptable and officially-imposed ideologies of the day, from whatever end of the political spectrum those ideologies derive.
