Adventure!

The first in a series of episodes that spoof the classic Adventure films of the 1920's - 30's. With all of the stereotypes in intact and on crack! It's purpose is to make fun of the old stereotypes used in old silent/early talky Adventure films. Enjoy! In today’s episode: Professor Walsh Whiteman searches for that legendary city of gold, Eldarodo. This film in the vain of "Africa Speaks" a "documentary" (if you can call it that) that was made in BW and was blantly offensive, however unintentional. This was a sort of a play on that, mixed with early adventure films and the book Deepest Darkest Africa which I found in the rare book room of my local college. I disagree with the concept that offending one person = failure. Hell the movie barbershop "offended" a lot of uptight people. I really just figured people would get it or not. It's no more offensive than MadTV when they did the BW sci fi spoof. With their token black caste member going on about what a great future it is, "separate, but equal". Perhaps it would help to know that my caste consisted of a 1/2 African American 1/2 Native American lead as well as a 1/2 black 1/2 asian lead. An Irish man and starring a Chekhoslovakian Croute (me)? Probably not, but it was worth a shot
