Excerpts from the Grand Step Project

The Grand Step Project's first incarnation was in New York City, 2004. It is a site adaptive performance work for 100 dancers and singers to be performed on grand staircases. Six sites in three NYC Boroughs were host to this work created by site artist Stephan Koplowitz. Commissioned by Dancing in the Streets, it was seen by over 20,000 people over the course of two weeks.
