This past Saturday we were invited to visit UrbanGlass, a non-profit glass blowing studio in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, for a visit of their complex. We got to see firsthand how glass is blown into beautiful shapes and styles using the same methods that have been used for thousands of years. As an artist myself, I’ve always had an interest in the art of glass blowing, but this is one hobby that is hard to find. Luckily, UrbanGlass is fully equipped for beginning and professional glassblowers to use
