Rhododendron arboreum (bhurans, bhuras, ghuras) is a large, up to 15 feet tall tree, with woody stems that bear red flowers in spring. The colour of the flowers may vary, but are usually crimson to red. The leaves are large and evergreen. Found in the middle Himalaya. It blooms in March and April.
