hey man, long time fan from youtube. I wanted to request you to review the port of Target: Terror for the Wii, this arcade port has flown totally under the radar and only got one review by gametap's horrible reviewers. They gave it a 4, and the only reasoning behind it was "it was cheesy and lame". I loved this game in the arcades and I really would like to know how the wii version holds up, but I'm so freaking broke this week...
I agree that the game seems to be pretty expensive at current, especially when you consider that HotD2&3 on Wii only costs $29.99 and is easily a much better game. Honestly, I've been disappointed in the Wii Remote's accuracy in no-reticle mode, as the targeting just isn't accurate enough. HotD2&3 is nearly unplayable for me. I'd hafta say that Ghost Squad fares much better, though.
As for Wii not being impressive, I'd agree with you if I hadn't purchased No More Heroes, which is easily one of the funnest games that I've ever played. I have around 11 or 12 games for it so far, and that's really the only one that's justified my Wii purchase. There are so may over-rated games on Wii. Plus, Nintendo does nothing to actually innovate in its newer games. It's just rehash after rehash.
I know! I wanted to grab it at EB if it was cheap, but DAMN! I'll wait for a used copy.
I remember seeing Target Terror in an Arcade, I didn't think much of it. We also got rid of the Wii because we just weren't impressed with the current and future lineup. Perhaps if the game gets emulated by the Mame, I'd gladly give it a shot.
By the way, the game seems awfully expensive at the 40 dollar price tag. You'd assume a title like that would just be $20.

I can't find anything about it, but I'm pretty positive it's just a card game like Magic and Pokemon using actual cards.
